Job Description:
An exciting new position has opened up for experienced web editors in Beijing. We are currently looking for a full-time senior editor to join the team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Editor-in-Chief to manage editorial staff and freelance writers, commission, review and edit articles, identify and generate interesting content and play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality content that appeals to our readers. Knowledge of SEO are major assets in consideration as are tech-savvy individuals with experience in editing/journalism/online media.

We’re looking for someone who can:
- Identify and generate engaging, original, SEO friendly content for the website and meet KPI targets
- Edit, polish, proofread, write, review and assess content
- Identify issues and trends in the social media space in China
- Liaise with freelance writers and commission good-quality, interesting articles in a timely manner
- Manage the editorial team and train new staff and interns

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Native-level English speaker
- Minimum one year (demonstrated) editing/writing experience
- A minimum one year of living experiences in China, preferably in Beijing
- Excellent communication skills
- IT skills and keen interest in the web highly desirable
- Keen interest in local culture and entertainment
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Must be a team player
- Experience and/or qualifications in journalism preferred
